    Iowa State's Rush Offense...

Is now ranked number one in the Big 12 over the first six weeks. The Cyclones are averaging just over 209 rushing yards per game. Oklahoma State is the second-ranked rushing team in the league averaging 196.

Props to the lineman as well as the running backs. That's pretty damn impressive and we'd be even further ahead with A-Rob getting all the carries in the K-State game.

Wow that is impressive.... Our line has been pretty darn good this year. And Arob is a stud

O-line #1 in the nation in sacks allowed. Can't wait for next Saturday night. I think we can go out at 4-2....

    4-3??

Part of our lack of sacks is throwing a lot of quick passes, the other part is our offensive line just being awesome.

Not to mention AA is a beast to bring down. He friggin moves the pile more than Tebow when he runs. He is strong.

    Re: Iowa State's Rush Offense...

I'm anxious to see what we really have for a rush offense. I understand that our offensive sets give us an advantage to pick up yards due to the numbers game, but it also has drawbacks on short yardage and redzone situations. What's that mean? Lot's of yards with not so many points on the ground. Add to that, we have really only played one decent defense in Iowa. If we can put up the rush yards against Mizzou, Nebraska, and OSU, I'll be a believer.

Some of these pass-happy offenses are cool, but I think it is real fun to watch a team that can run all over.

    Re: Iowa State's Rush Offense...

Well if we want a shot at respectability we need to be running the ball for 170 yards a game. We've really lacked that for the past 5 years. ARob needs to be a 1000 yard rusher this year and next. If he does that then AA just needs to be decent for a winning season.

That and a D line that can get some pressure on the other teams QB.

And Arnaud. He is a beast running the football, he really is a true dual threat now.
