    Good crowd today

Good crowd of very faithful Cyclone fans at the game today, was good to be involved in that. Got to see lots of the parents - glad they are traveling well.

Another typical finish, would have been fun to have the team come into the lockerroom next to us and celebrate - that's all I was thinking about on that final drive.

I think if we handed the ball to ARob instead of that deep pass to Hamilton on that first down, I think we perhaps are talking about a different outcome.

Much love to ARob for another great day and I think AA stepped up for the team. Left some yards on the field in the first half but looked better in the second. Great job keeping the last play alive, just a yard too long. :(

    Re: Good crowd today

On tv it looked like a good contingent of cardinal and gold fans inside the stadium...

I've gone down there before when it was a wasteland for clone fans and at other times clone fans took over the east endzone all the way up to the top!!!!

Next week we're gonna win boys and it mite not even be close!!

    This...

I mentioned the same in another thread and I agree wholeheartedly. Even if Hamilton had somehow caught the ball and scored it would have been too soon and KU would have just went the other way and won it. Needed to burn more clock and stick with what was working.

I can't be the only one that thinks "typical ISU finish" is the dumbest thing to have been said after a loss. Is it "typical" for a bad team to hold a top 25 team on the ropes until the final drive? Is it "typical" for a bad team to lose by 5 on the road to a top 25 team and be within an overthrow of winning?

Sorry to be THAT guy but it was Darks at the end.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

The reason it's typical is that those plays NEVER go our way, whereas if it was KU or anyone else on the other end, they would have completed the pass. Just seems to be our luck.

They seemingly never go our way. I'm sure that there are many plays, against many teams, that have gone our way. They go unnoticed to us because we're biased. We beat Iowa in 07 because of a no-call on a borderline PI.

Notice I said finish. Not game. Finish. Our team routinely teases us and then loses in the end. That much is typical.

Same thing. They played well and lost. Losing like that is NOT a typical finish no matter how you want to spin it.

    KU last season.
    OU in '07.
    K-State at home in '99.

    Should I continue?

That's up to you. However those were all at home against ranked teams. That's a different monster than the one today altogether.
