    Golf in Rio Olympics?

Sounds like the Olympic committee is talking about bringing back golf as a Olympic sport. Personally, I think it sounds cool. Give Tiger a chance to win a gold medal on top of his $1 billion fortune.

He would not play because of lack of $$$$ or major titles.

Also if he passes Jack before 2016, I would presume he is retired from professional golf. He has hinted in interviews that he does not plan on playing for an extended period of time.

Hmmm...seems like tiger is one of the people pushing for it. You're nuts if you think an olympic gold medal isn't something he wants to add to his resume. Plus, it looks like both golf and rugby were just approved.

Why would you not play in the PGA until the age of 700? What are you going to do when you retire? Play football? No. You're going to play golf. Might as well get paid for it.

Golf is definitely one of the most international sports out there... I see no reason why it shouldn't be an olympic sport.

Not saying he won't play golf anymore, but he has been in the spot light since he was 15 years old.....probably tired of cameras following him and his family around. I would be shocked if he is still playing on the PGA tour much past 40 (also depends on how many majors he has).
