REALLY? Who is going to be in the Cards starting rotation? They lost everyone except for Carpenter.

Holy crap, I feel like I have been in a hole. Where did baseball come from already? That said, I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUNDAY.

    Re: Cubs set lineup!

I see some problems with that lineup. First of all I know Soriano has speed but you can't have someone who strikes out 100+ times leading off. Second, Matt Murton in front of D Lee? Ramirez did a good job last year but I can't see Murton doing that well in front of D Lee.

I don't think this lineup will be a huge difference, buying a ton of free agents doesn't mean crap, as evidenced by the yankees the last few years.

The Cards improved their rotation considerably by getting rid of Jason Marquis. Any team that picked him up is sure to scrape bottom of the barrel.

I can agree with your first point in regards to the number of times you see Soriano striking out.

But I don't get the second one. Why wouldn't you expect Murton to do well in front of D Lee, and Rameriez behind him? You're not going to see opposing teams want to risk putting Murton on in front of those two. I imagine he'll see tons of pitches.
