    jer garman

any of you guys heard of this kid? He kind of reminds me of a young brandon wegher. He plays for Linn-Mar which is a school district near Cedar Rapids. He has resurrected their program from the dead. His Freshman year they were 0-9. Last year they were 3-6. They are currently sitting at 6-0. He is a junior right now so i'm sure there will be some offers coming his way. He is your run-of-the-mill 170 pound scatback.

Linn mar grad here, heck they practically play in my backyard. Garmin is way too small for D1 football. He's maybe 5'5" and no more than 120. There are a few other athletes on the team though that have made visits. Quarterback Will Roth is 6'6" I think, and has been offered by UNI.

I watch him at all of the home games. Nothing to add to what CYBY said.

Description from the local rag of the squad. Josh Montague has been a pretty good target for Will Roth.

Garman, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, was fifth among MVC rushers as a sophomore in scampering for 1,012 yards in 126 carries (8.0 avg.), a 112-yard-per-game average.

I've stood next to him...there is no way that he is 170. I was bigger than him in high school, and as you can see here...I wasnt very big (on the right).

    For football, I was listed at 5'11 150...I was 5'9" 130

FWIW...also in that article, they mention David Perry. He lives next door to me. A good sized kid. Has visited ISU.
