QUIT pounding on AA, he WILL be THE difference-maker!

Granted AA has been better in the past. Also, granted he hit the rock bottom completing 13 out of 27 passes against KSU. However, I am not giving up on this kid. He had to learn 3 systems with 3 coaches. Our new offense is, by far, the hardest system to get used to. I have a feeling AA will turn it around. He can throw the ball, he just needs a LOT of support from Cyclone Nation. Let's try to stay positive and help him learn from making mistakes.

Tiller is NOT the choice for us, not YET anyway. It's Arnaud's game to lose every week, we need his confidence back to win big 12 games. He will get it back with a positive attitude from all of us. Let's give it to him when he needs it the MOST!

I'll stop being critical of AA when he starts completing routine throws.

Re: QUIT pounding on AA, he WILL be THE difference-maker!

I think threads like this just have no place, as AA himself has said he needs to play better and the two losses are on him. Great leader that does need to play much better.

    Period.

C'mon, it's not like people are throwing stones at the kid.

Hard to not be critical when he is bouncing 5 yard outs when is he under no pressure whatsoever. Also hard not to be critical when he is throwing into double coverage as the tight end is dancing the jig in the middle of the field while noone is within 15 yards of him.

He is a QB playing D1 football and he is not performing up to his abilities. Of course he is going to get some criticism from fans. It is the life of a QB

Some people say their 2 cents about AA and his struggles.

Some say it over and over and over and over.

    Tiller is not the answer...

    and it's not even close.

Agreed. I don't want Arnaud benched and I think those that do have buried their heads in the sand. I just want him to play better. We know he can do better.

Re: QUIT pounding on AA, he WILL be THE difference-maker!

I hope you are right... I will admit I am critical, but trust me. I'd rather have austen stay in and improve (hopefully) than put tiller in. AA is the leader on that team and you cant take ur main leader off the field. With that said I do think tiller needs 3 drives a game to make sure he doesnt go all Phillip Bates on us and leaves

I agree, AA will figure it out... he'll get back to being the player we all thought he could be.

This. QBs get far to much credit and far too much blame. When a QB makes a mistake, the whole stadium knows about it, not so much when a guard misses a block..

I disagree, were you at the game in KC? If there had been stones to throw in the stadium, people would have been throwing them in the mid-to-late 4th Quarter. Fans were actually booing him again in our sections. But when he lead them down the field at the end of the game, people were in love with him again. I hate the cliche, but it couldn't be more true for the majority of our fanbase this year. "The most popular guy on the team is the backup quarterback"
