    A-Rob Injury

Does anyone have an update on how long he may be out, or if he will be ready to go on Saturday? This will be a huge factor for the next two games as the KSU game demonstrated.

Definitely looking for an update on this - can't have our best offensive weapon (when this offense lacks them to date) on the sidelines and expect to win many, if any games this season.

Anyone that has had a strained groin will tell you that the only way he will get healthy is complete inactivity for a span of 3-4 weeks.

It's not a good situation and I don't expect him to be able to go at 100% for the rest of the year if he keeps trying to play every week.

He could probably be healthy by A&M if he sits out the next 3 games.

Sit him out all week and sit him out for the KU game. We have very little chance in that game to begin with. Hopefully he can be 90% by the Baylor game.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

This here. He needs to sit and get back to 100%. He's no good to anyone or himself if he's less than fully healthy.

This. I've been there done that with a strained groin, and if it isn't completely 100%, you just aggravate it, and it gets worse every time. Realistic time table would put it at Texas A&M or home against Oklahoma State is his next action.

It's also touchy because you might feel 100%, but if you try to go too early on it, you don't feel the pain until the next day.

I was thinking the same thing, this is something that NAGS at you for a while if not given sufficient time to heal... give it two weeks...

This. I did notice watching the KU/Duke game that Duke's receivers were getting WIDE open on a regular basis and their QB couldn't hit them to save his life. AA has missed some open guys, and made some bad throws, but he's also found the open guy more the past couple weeks. Basically, my point is since we don't have much of a chance, let Schwartz and Blankenship split carries, and let's try straight up slinging the ball around. Worst case, we lose (as appears likely), best case we start making plays, hang in the game, and AA gets some of last year's confidence back. Arob gets healthy, and when he's back we're a more capable all around offense.

all you one week, two week people have no clue about a strained groin. He needs 3 minimum and probably 4 or 5 in reality.

I know it takes a while... give hime 3-5 then... better to have him 90-100% for 4 games at the end, then 25-70% for the rest of the season.

Wow, that's a bummer. I think we're going to have a real tough time against anyone until he is back. Schwartz did alright, be he'll really need to step up.

I thought Schwartz looked good. Give him another week running with the first team and watch out!
I look for him to put up big numbers Saturday.

I thought he looked good too but just didnt have that extra gear to make the big run.

If he tries playing at 90%, the first time he tries to juke or turn up for an extra burst of speed, he'll be back to 25%. We'll be lucky to see him start and play 3 games the rest of the season.

Schwartz will never put up big numbers. He doesn't have the speed to break off anything. He isn't going to take many losses, but he also isn't going to break off a 25 yard run to offset the runs for no gain.
