    Bo

I'm hoping someone else is wondering this... I know Chris W. said he was. Jeremiah Schwartz apparently gets a little banged up, he averaged a whopping 3.something yards per carry, and we didn't get Bo Williams in at ALL!?! This is the only game I'll make it to, but good lord Bo looks like a MAN down there... I just thought, a few plays wouldn't hurt. Can anyone in the know shed some light on why Jeremiah Schwartz is SO much better that a former Florida recruit couldn't get 5 of those draws on Saturday?

    Re: Bo

I don't know for sure, but it looked like in pre-game warmups that Tiller had to tell Bo where to lineup a few times. He really might not know the playbook that well.

    Re: Bo

I have no insight to offer on why he isn't sniffing the field. The only reason I am so interested in this is the same reason all of you are. With all of the hype that came with Williams, I just want to see the guy! That's it. I have nothing against JS. I'm not questioning the coaches. I just want to see the guy take a few snaps. That's it.

I'm sure that CPR and his staff have legit reasons for not playing him. It's more of a curiosity thing on my part I guess.

I'm sure they do too... I'm just baffled that we can't get the guy on the field SOME WAY for a little bit.. if he's not good, oh well, no love lost. But if he comes out, and runs hard 10 plays a game and gets us some good yardage, isn't it a win-win partnership... then as he begins to learn the playbook, he gets more snaps and life is good for all involved parties?

    Re: Bo

If I may be perfectly blunt, when Schwarz went down, Arob ran straight to Bo (who was starting to ride the stationary bike on the side lines) and started showing him how to hold a football. Talking to him about tucking it in, etc.

Bo apparently coughs up the ball.

I saw that too, but ok... again, WHAT DID WE HAVE TO LOSE? He goes out there, doesn't perform, no love lost... but schwartz WASN'T getting the job done that well. He did ok. But he wasn't Arob... he was DEFINITELY not breaking the game open

Which brings me to my next point, how is Arob?

    Re: Bo

What do we have to lose??? A guy can have all the athletic ability in the world, but if he can't hang on to the football it doesn't mean squat. If there are fumble issues, the guy can't get put on the field.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

I'd say if he's not known as a back with good ball security that the answer is farily obvious what we have to lose.

Fine... if he goes on the field and fumbles, you can come on here and tell me how right you were and how wrong I am. I'll admit it. I think we should have TRIED Bo out for 5-10 plays on Saturday.

Yup. Add the fact that he doesn't care for contact and supposedly is not able to grasp the offense and he's a liability - not someone we can depend on.

Unless Bo does a complete 180, the day he gets on the field is the day I all lose hope for our offense.

    Re: Bo

If ARob is out for the Kansas game, this would be a good time to give Bo a chance. Swartz brings some real toughness to the game but ISU needs someone that can do something in the open field.

Maybe they should put Beau in the game, but not Bo.

    Re: Bo

Jake Williams is a walk-on, ok? A frickin' walk-on. And he made the catch of the year for us - giving us a chance to keep playing for a win Saturday. What did some of our other hyped up receivers do? Nothing.

Do some of you need to see Bo go in there and flop before you'll can it and let less hyped up players that are actually producing in practice get the PT while Bo rides the pine?
