    Re: KSU Recap

"Iowa State was hurt by the loss of Alexander Robinson who gave it a go, but in the end re-aggravated his strained groin. It was evident on his one breakthrough run that on normal days Robinson turns that in to a touchdown, but the extra gear clearly wasn’t there."

In my opinion this is the sole reason we lost this game. With a healthy A-Rob we win this one by two scores. Without him we are Kansas State. We obviously don't have the depth we need to maintain the consistency we need at the running back position. AA cannot carry this team by himself, nor should he have too.

Let's hope that we can get A-Rob healthy and steal a game we "shouldn't" win to get this one back. A bowl is still possible, but these guys will have to earn it. I think they can, but it won't be easy. If we can't get A-Rob back I think it is very likely that we've seen our last win of the season (except for maybe Colorado, if Haskins hasn't been fired by then).

    Let's get KU!

We can beat Colorado, and we have a fighting chance against Baylor without their starting QB. I don't see much chance for a bowl game without winning a road game against A&M, and that isn't likely. It's time to see this season for what it is...yet another rebuilding year with a new coach. Getting to 5 wins is a major accomplishment for a team that has won only 5 games in the last 2 years.

If 5 wins is possible as you say, would one more really be such an astronomical feat? I think that 5 is where the team probably ends up, but I can't dismiss 6 at this point...a lot of season left.
