Where to watch and listen to ISU

I thought it would be a cool idea to have a "one stop" thread (for fans who are not at the games) to go and find places to see or hear the games. Each Friday/Saturday there seem to be several people that post asking these questions.

Below is a list of links from my bookmarks I've used in the past when I can't make it to the game. It's a start... might be useful come game time. Feel free to add to it. Maybe a Mod would be interested in making something like this sticky. Or maybe it could be included in the "GameDay" thread. Or it could just sit here and get lost in the shuffle. Just some thoughts.

Football schedule, lists if there is TV and audio for games and will normally have a link to live stats:
Football - Schedule - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - The home of Iowa State Cyclone Sports

ESPN 360 (if your ISP carries it): http://espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/index

CloneZone (usually requires a subscription): www.cyclones.com

Channel Surfing.net: lots of times has a live video feed if game is televised somewhere.
Watch Online tv sports news and entertainment for free at channelsurfing

    Free streaming audio:
1600 KGYM AM: 1600AM KGYM - ESPN Sports Radio - Cedar Rapids, IA - Home
    107.3 KIOW: KIOW Mix 107.3

Free GameCasts: If you go to any of the major sports websites, find the College Football Scoreboard, there will be a link to a game cast.

Even more comprehensive list of weekly internet feeds than channelsurfing. Go to the NCAA forum where they have a thread with the weekly feeds that people are broadcasting (great for NFL games as well).

    Thanks.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

sometimes 1600AM KGYM - ESPN Sports Radio - Cedar Rapids, IA - Home will have 'trouble' with their audio feed for ISU sports. Intentional? who knows. But, you can try Cyclone Radio Network on USTREAM or Cyclone Radio Network on Justin.tv. if there is a free audiofeed to be found, you can hear it there. video is a little tougher since there aren't that many games televised. I'm working on facebook pages and blackberry apps for next season. should be a lot of fun!
