    A-ROB INJURY?

Espn says that they were notified by the Des Moines Register that Alexander Robinson has a strained groin. How bad is it? it says he is playing saturday against k-state but will this injury be a major factor?

    Re: A-ROB INJURY?

You could see he had a slight limp on his way back to the sideline after catching the TD pass. Didn't look too serious, doesn't sound that way now.

    Re: A-ROB INJURY?

I know Parker's injury is more serious and is likely done for the season, but this is the injury I'd most like to know about and concerns me more. Even if it's just a minor thing, these things slow a guy down for weeks sometimes.

Hope like hell it's insignificant and he can put 150+ yards on K-State.

Pulled groins are the worst. They linger all year. Hopefully Schwartz is ready. Maybe Bo Williams (the best looking sideline viewer ever) will get some snaps if ARob is dinged up.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

I love the pure hatred that you bring during KSU weeks. I share your feelings.

Hold him out of practice until Thursday. I hope he will be ready to go with a week of rest.

    Re: A-ROB INJURY?

It seemed like it was one of those deals that we've all had before. He probably just extended his leg too far or in an awkward position. At the time, I made a joke about him hurting himself because he wasn't used to being that open. I laughed anyway.

    Re: A-ROB INJURY?

The word strained is big. If he said pulled then I would be really worried about his performance the rest of the year. They will probably just sit him most of the week, get him in the swimex, and he will be ready to play. No worries cyclone nation.

Agreed! 22 is level headed the rest of the time, but KSU seems to bring out the worst in him. I like the fire!

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system.

It was a heck of a lot more than a slight limp.

He fell to the ground after flipping the ref the ball and getting off the field. After the training staff attended to him he was able to get up and walk back down the sideline.

I really hope he's able to take it easy this week and be good to go this weekend. Before the season there was much said of "As Austen goes, so goes this team", but it's looking more and more each week like Robinson's name should be in there instead.

I was being too kind and cautious. A 100% ARob should have 200+ on the ground and another 50 or so receiving.

    Re: A-ROB INJURY?

My guess is he doesn't practice this week and lets it rest. Gives him plenty of time to study film and see where the holes are gonna be. My bet is that he's over 85% on saturday, and that's still pretty damn effective. However, I wouldn't be opposed to starting Schwartz or Beau (not Bo) and seeing if they're effective. If they are, let the man heal.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.
