I didnt realize our schedule would include 5 top 25 teams. Tougher than I thought it would be.

Could end up being 6. A&M is knocking on the door of the top 25.

    Re: Top 25 USA Today

How in the world is Houston ranked below Okie State and Georgia?

Apparently the opinion of Coaches and their SID's mean more than the actual results on the field.

    I hate polls...

    Ridiculous.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

Not really, PSU was 4 and Iowa was knocking on the door. They dropped 9 spots, and Iowa rose into the top 20. Iowa had a huge leap frog over teams this week, which they deserved.

That said, I still think Penn State was ranked too high last week.

Still ridiculous. Being dominated at home by the Hawks is enough to drop them below Iowa. It's not like they barely lost on the road in Kinnick.

They weren't dominated by anything more than two turnovers. I didn't watch the game, but it sounded like Clayborn's blocked kick return and Angerer's fumble recovery are what sealed the deal. Not much else.

They were dominated by the Iowa defense. PSU scored on the first play of the game and that's about all the offense they had.

    Re: Top 25 USA Today

These results pretty much confirm again why polls shouldn't come out till later. Iowa should be ranked above PSU and Houston clearly has proven that the OSU win wasn't just a fluke.

    I hate these early polls.

They weren't dominated at all by Iowa's defense........

Other then Clayborn blocking PSU's punt for a TD...
    and the INT after that....
    or the fumble after that.....
or the INT that was the only reason iowa won the game.....

    Oh wait a minute.......

That was in less than 10 minutes of game time. That isn't a domination as much as it is a stretch of momentum that was sparked by the blocked punt.

Domination goes from first gunshot to final bell.
