    Anybody remember this guy?

Shaving made simpler | press-citizen.com | Iowa City Press Citizen

A while back, in the long long ago, this fool was hawking his product on some Hawk board. When people criticized his product, he got very defensive and acted like a child.

The website he has is hilarious. In the testimonials, he has one from himself.

I was one of the people that agread to use his joke of a product. I came back and gave my results, with pictures, and he started to slam me.

BTW-Since trying his little test I went to shaving with a double edged razor and couldn't be happier.

    Re: Anybody remember this guy?

I love the quote at the bottom of the article:

"It's a shame the Press Citizen had to write an article about a guy selling $10 & $20 bottles of baby oil."

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

    Funny because it's so true.

I wish Hawk eye nation had search functionality so I could find the original post.

I don't like to knock the Press Citizen. They're the only news agency in this state who didn't just follow the song and dance the university was putting out about the rape case a few years back.

But they do have a few interesting selections on topics. My favorite - a year or so ago, they were doing a piece on uninsured Iowans and the costs to everyone else. For their main example, do they get a truely sad case? A single mom of 3 working two jobs? A retiree who's lost his benefits? Nope.

    A 27 year old u of i grad who's a professional gambler...

    Tons of sympathy there....

It kind of looks like an ISU shirt above the shave box on the right. It looks like the older logo in red on a yellow shirt.

I noticed that too. But it's a hawk shop, so my guess is it's something disparaging.

    Re: Anybody remember this guy?

"A two-ounce bottle of the lubricating liquid sells for $9.99. Because the solution does not contain water it does not evaporate and only a small amount is needed to cover the razor blades.

An eight-ounce bottle of the shaving solution sells for $9.99."

    same price, what a bargain.
