    LOL that's funny.

Kalona, an Amish paradise. They really do pull a lot of people for real all the time on highway 1.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this too. What a strange way to get tourism in your town. I bet they'll end up making more people mad than anything. "Welcome to Iowa! We'll pull you over for being from out of state and force you to visit our small towns!"

I leaved in Kalona for three years and i actually kind of liked the town.

That being said, this is a wierd marketing ploy to say the least.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing, if you've had a Kalona bar, you will understand why.

A couple from Missouri was heading to Tennessee and traveled through Kalona?

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

I thought the same thing considering Sedalia, MO is only 20 miles from where I live!

Remember this is Missouri that we're talking about. Map reading is not in the curriculum.

I have alot of friends from Kalona, and I have definitely been pulled over just outside of town.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.
