    Improvements for Next Year

Just curious as to what everyone thinks is the greatest area of improvement for each player for next season? Here's my opinion.

McIntosh - Strength - If he can handle tight pressure and become a threat to drive, he'll see the majority of the PG minutes next season.

Taylor - Control - He needs to cut down on the TOs. Having another scorer or more effective point play will help.

Clark - Hand Strength - He gets his hands on everything, but gets it tipped away a ton. And how many bunnies has he missed after a rebound this year.

    W. Johnson - Perimeter Defense - His main weakness, in my opinion. He should be able to stop any guy from getting around him, but players get around him way too much.

Hubalek - Weight - Bulk up some more and he will be a monster.

Dunson - Ball Handling - No glaring weaknesses, but this could improve.

    C. Johnson - Quickness - If he quickens up, he could match up with big guys and small guys.

    R. Marsden - Weight - His agressiveness has improved lately, he actually goes after the rebound after a good box out. Adding weight would help immensly.

Everyone needs to just shoot until there hands bleed. Look at our shooting percentage this year in big games. Hire Jake Sullivan to come down and teach them how to practice shooting.

Yep, we are going to have to be able to score more than 55 points to win most Big 12 games.

    Re: Improvements for Next Year

If Garrett is as good as advertised, he may push McIntosh for a lot of minutes at the point. He may even be able to push Clark into a sixth man role.

I would love to see this starting lineup:
    1 Diante Garrett
    2 Michael Taylor
    3 Wesley Johnson
    4 Brackins/Thompson
    5 Hubalek/Thompson

I think that, if he's not starting, Clark would still see a ton of minutes at the 2 and 3 spots. Dunson and McIntosh would provide a lot minutes at the 1 and 2 spots.

Either way I think we'll be a lot deeper. Staiger will probably get some minutes at the 2 and 3 spots. C Johnson might get some minutes at the 3 and 4. I wouldn't be surprised to Boozer as a redshirt, unless he's shooting lights out.

If Garrett can adjust quickly to D1 ball, it will be great to be two deep across the floor.
