Re: Tomorrow is My Mom's Birthday...

If your mom is like my mom where it is imposssssssible to find her something since she really doesn't value having "things", I suggest a homemade calendar customized with photos of you and your family (if you have one). I do this annually anymore and she loves it every time. She is also from the generation that loves to have calendars hanging everywhere.

You can upload digital pictures and fully customize a calendar at either Walmart.com or Hy-Vee.com. I've mostly used Walmart in the past because they had more options but HyVee has caught up and now I use their site (because I hate giving Walmart money). It'll cost you about $20.

    My 2 cents.

+1. People pictures are great, but don't forget shots of places she likes. Her house, your house, golf courses, parks, church, backyard, etc. With some programs you can put small pictures on individual dates, like birthdays, anniversaries, Mothers Day, etc.

Nice!! She will love that. I didn't even think of a calendar. I'm on the hunt for pictures.

    I love this site!

You guys are pretty intuitive. You don't do the whole walking aimlessly into Hallmark in the hopes of something on the shelve jumping into your hands to purchase.

I gave up on getting gifts for my mom. She has a way of regifting them back to me. Just take her out to lunch.
