Today on Topeka Sports Talk and they were previewing this weekend's games. They got to ISU and spoke about Jarvis being out with a lacerated kidney. But the real story was that Jarvis found out that he only had one functioning kidney.
Now instead of worrying about the kids life, the coach made the comment that he should be awarded a sixth year because of his injury. And if the NCAA didn't allow it he wanted all Kent St. students to revolt and burn the NCAA building down.
It was on Kent State's website for about ten minutes and vanished. That's a heck of a coach... forget the health of the kid - just play football!!!
I dont see the big deal. Jarvis maybe upset about not being able to play anymore. Maybe this is his way of making Jarvis feel a bit better. He wants what is best for his player and doesnt want the NCAA to play their games with his 6th year. We dont know the whole sitution.
The gap in our economy is between what we have and what we think we ought to have--and that is a moral problem, not an economic one. - Paul Heyne
