    Baseball manager of the year

It should be Jim Tracy. What a turnaround, in 99 games under Tracy the Rockies record is 64-35. Before Tracy they were 15 1/2 games behind in the cellar.

I know you're being sarcastic, but keep in mind that Manuel has basically been managing the equivalent of a AAA or worse team for at least half of the season. They have the worst "Games lost to DL" out of anyone else in MLB. In fact, Luis Castillo and I believe the pitcher is Mike Pelfry are the only two regular Mets starters that have not spent time on the DL.

I find it hard to argue with this statement! Incredible turnaround! Fun to watch as well.

Joe Torre has handled the Dodgers well this year and might get some consideration as well.

I have absolutely no bias at all and say that Tony LaRussa should always be manager of the year.

Anyone but Giardi. (sp?) yes the Yankees have a bunch of wins, but with their salary and stars they have, they SHOULD be doing that year in and year out.

ron washington. rangers had no business being over .500 with this team not to mention in a playoff race. they are going to lose the race but wash still gets my vote.

Yep. It sucks even worse to be a Mets, Royals, Chiefs, and Iowa State Fan!

To handle it you need a good sense of humor and lots of alcohol.
