We can make it NYC. We won't be invited so it won't matter.

Wow - New York...... in December......

    Well, it isn't Boise.

"two or three days in Manhattan sure has heck beats two or three days in Shreveport, don’t you think?"

    No.

(ps - the bowl situation is getting ri-freaking-diculous)

I'd sure as hell buy tickets to a cold weather bowl game in NYC before someplace like Boise. I'd even go to NYC before I went to some of the warm weather sites.

I didn't want to say it but I'm glad you did! If you have a losing record, you don't deserve a bowl game. EVEN if you have an even record, you don't deserve a bowl game. This is all about money at this point.

I love the bowl games - and the more the better. If you don't like 'em, you don't have to watch 'em...

Re: Could ISU make it to NYC for a Bowl?

Has there been a bowl game in NYC since the infamous 1962 Gotham Bowl? It was a disaster in terms of attendance, weather, and finances although it was a key turning point for Nebraska building their program.

True - but "nothing special" versus even-odds on a blizzard is still a plus.

I realize that. But still, warmer than NYC.

The bowls have always been about the money! This is the reason we don't have a playoff in college football.
