They were talking last night how this was going to be a big year for Brian now that he is finally healthy. If I'm him, I'd retire.

Making fun at the Bears is easy to do, but this is a bummer. Enjoy watching him play.

Damn, I was hoping Cutler was out for the season!! Or whomever decided to fake punt on 4th and 11.

Hilarious! Cutler makes it so easy to root against him...and this is coming from someone who like to see the Bears have success!

Re: Urlacher out for the season

Sports-talk radio in Chicago is going to be crazy today...well...all week! Melt-down city! Huge expectations for that team (even though they have no WRs) in Chicago! And now the Steelers come to town...not saying the Bears can't win...they very well might! But if the Bears start off 0-2 the city will explode!

Re: Urlacher out for the season

Let me be the first Packer fan to say this sucks. I respect the Bears, love the NFL's oldest rivalry and enjoy Urlacher's enthusiasm for the game.

Having said this, I think Hunter Hillenmeyer is a pretty good LB so it's not like the cupboard is bare; I was bummed when the Packers cut him years ago. This now puts three former Vanderbilt Commodores in the Bear starting lineup...

Cutler, Bennett, Williams, and Hillenmeyer... so four. The bears seem to get big pipelines like this. A few years ago it was Florida, then Oklahoma, now Vandy.

And lets be honest... Urlacher is a jerk who only cares about his paycheck lately.

A dislocated bone had to be surgerically put back in.

Don't know how I forgot about big Chris Williams! When I think about college football powers, I almost always include Vanderbilt with Florida & Oklahoma! They may not win many games on the field but those Vandy guys will come in handy if the NFL every hosts a "Quiz Bowl" event...

This sucks but it didn't seem to hurt them too much last night. If Cutler didn't go all Austen Arnaud out there the Bears would've won pretty handily.

That was the long snapper. NBC had a tight shot of him signaling to Wolfe that the ball was coming his way.
