Cyclones of the Week: Iowa Game

I realize that it is tough to think of positives after yesterday's 35-3 loss to Iowa but as I posted last week, I want to hand out offensive and defensive Cyclone of the Week awards here at CycloneFanatic.com following every game.

Last week, Marquis Hamilton and David Sims brought home the hardware.

My votes this week go to Alexander Robinson and David Sims.

    What do you guys think?

    A-Rob and Sims.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Don't know who else you could say besides Sims and A-Rob. If we would have gotten him the ball more I would maybe say Hamilton, but not over Robinson.

Great picks, but nothing to be proud of. Sims seems to be a playmaker though.

The Oline did a good job for the most part. And yes Sims.

Re: Cyclones of the Week: Iowa Game

Sims might turn out to be the best player we have had in quite a while. He has a nose for the ball and shows he can tackle.
ARob should be our primary focus right now. He plays hard every down. Does anyone know what his yards after first contact are? I would bet they are better than we have seen since Ennis.

Did think the D came to play, but with the pionts off turnovers and being on the feild a good% of the game didn't help them out.

Re: Cyclones of the Week: Iowa Game

Sims & A-Rob were the only players we had on the field this week.

Does anyone else think A-Robs spin move seems to take forever ... its effective though. reminds me of Madden how often he uses it.

Robinson and Sims. I'm sure part of the credit for Robinson should go to the line, because they gave him some holes.

I thought the defense played above average. Iowa took advantage of the TOs and great field positions.
