    What the heck?

Why in the heck is there an auto race on abc 5 when there is college football? Who makes a decision like that?

    Re: What the heck?

I think abc 5 had the choice to put the race on or the game. If they did, this is lunacy, if not then sorry abc 5.

No, they didn't have a choice. OSU-USC was going to be on ESPN all along, and the race was going to be on ABC all along. ESPN/ABC has paid big bucks to get a significant chunk of the NASCAR season, so they're going to put it out there in as many homes as possible.

    Re: What the heck?

I remember ABC had a NASCAR race on once or twice on a Saturday night during the college football season last year as well. Nothing new here.

    Re: What the heck?

I'm not a NASCAR fan but a lot of people are. I'm not so sure there wouldn't be more viewers for the race than USC vs. Ohio State.
