    Body Paint for THE GAME

Does anyone know where to find cheap body paint in Ames? Is my best bet Walmart? Does anyone have any recommendations for a pattern for the game on Saturday (I forget who we are playing)? Thanks in advance.

Walgreen's has body paint... worked pretty good. Just be prepared for your shower to look like someone got murdered in it when you try and wash it off. Which made the land lord happy!

Latex paint works the best hands down!

Re: Body Paint for THE GAME

The halloween section of Walmart (K-mart, etc) would have Face Creame - aka body paint.

This stuff provides excellent coverage, color and wearability (It'll last the whole day)
Downsides are it does not dry, so it rubs off on anything you touch, and can stain (I recommend Oxi clean for removing stains). It will look like you murdered someone in the shower, you'll need to use Fantastic or Bleach to clean it. Also, make sure to wear a Red shirt the next day or two, as you usually don't get it all completely off the first go round...

Acryllic or Latex paints will dry, so they make less mess of your clothes and generally make less of a mess of your shower, however it does start to crack and peel after a few hours and probably won't look very good later on. Still makes a mess of your shower, and could clog the drain

My cell phone was usually pink for a week or two after that

I learned to use rubber gloves to apply the paint.... keep the hands clean afterwards. Also made it easier to switch from Red to Yellow without contaminating your fingers

I know Lowes has some Red Curb paint that might do the trick. However, I think it is oil based and is horrible getting off the skin but at least you would have the rest of the season to wear it. :)
