More importantly, check out this quote from the article:

The Hawkeyes have a big height advantage in the secondary. Starters Trey Stross and Marvin McNutt each stand 6-foot-44
These guys are 9'-8" tall! The Hawkeyes have recruited players from a long lost race of giants!

2 receivers who are each 6'44" ? I'm sure McNutt and Stross will be having a field day.

The story title is actually pretty funny. The first part is true, but the second part is well, not. The offense that I saw this weekend wouldn't scare the East Scarletts.

And I bet Hawk fans will say that if he would have ended up at Pitt he would have been the next Dan Marino

Rhoads and company need to start recruiting the kids committed to Colorado, because they'll have a new head coach next year.

That was my first thought as well. Is it common for D-Coords to recruit QB's?

No - they would say "he isn't any good, we didn't want him anyway"

    Re: Rhoads Recruited Stanzi

I didn't realize coaches who specialized in defense went out to recruit quarterbacks... I'd buy that Pittsburgh recruited Stanzi while Rhoads was at Pitt. I don't exactly buy that Rhoads himself recruited Stanzi, but even if he did, who really gives two *****?

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
