    Tailgate Tunes

There have been plenty of "Top 10 Favs" list threads, but I am interested in what people play for their tailgate playlists.
Generally, my tailgate playlist has a lot more variaety than my faves so that it acomodates everyone that is there.

For example, my current list runs from G-n-R to Johnny Cash to Snoop Dog.

What is you top 10ish list?

    Re: Tailgate Tunes

The ghostbusters theme song was a big hit for us. I think some kinda cheesy songs go well for tailgating.

    Re: Tailgate Tunes

Tunes? Too busy either drinking, talking, drinking, eating, grilling, drinking, talking, drinking, playing catch, bean bag toss and did I mention drinking. Throw in a trip to the port-a-pot every now and then. Sucks when someone next to you has to play music so loud that you can't even think.

I did see someone pulling a John Deere painted cooler with a stereo system built in the lid. Pretty crude looking but it was pretty cool.

There was a guy in lot S-5 that looked at lot like Joe Dirt with a giant F-350 that apparently liked Green Day. I think he had pretty much all of the albums. Unfortunately, it didn't appear that the women liked his same choice in music.

    Re: Tailgate Tunes

Here's my latest CD. I change up a few songs every year and we have a few other mixes too that are more just rock/rap or strictly country too but this is the 1 that gets the most play. A lot of us like country music which is why 8 of the 20 songs are by country artists but I think a lot of the others would also fit well on most tailgate CDs too.

Comin' To Your City - Big & Rich (the college game day version)
    Click Click Boom - Saliva
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns & Roses
    Thuinderstruck - AC/DC
Me and my Gang - Rascal Flatts
    She's a Hottie - Toby Keith
    She's Country - Jason Aldean
    Rockstar - Nikelback
Wanna be a Baller - Lil Troy
Yeah - Usher ft Lil Jon & Ludacris
    Cyclone - Baby Bash
Let it Rock - Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil Wayne
Remember the Name - Fort Minor
Living on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Lookin' for a Good Time - Lady Antebellum
    Loud - Big & Rich
One in Every Croud - Montgomery Gentry
    Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrnd Skynyrd
    Mountain Music - Alabama

Wow, what a mix. This mix is like taking shots of whiskey between a glass of Cristal and then rinsing your mouth with PBR.

LOL, that's an interesting way to put it. Well it's much better than one of the CDs one of our guys has that we try to keep away from the CD player. It's about 1/2 Bob Marley 1/2 Johnny Cash. Can be almost depressing music at times when you want something to jam out to.

    Definitely.

I prefer a lot of country and some good classic rock. I don't really need the hip hop and hard rock to get me pumped up. Tailgating is more about chilling out and having a good time anyway. Save the hip hop/hard rock for the players in the locker room.

Pregame show. If late game, listen to games going on before kick off.
