Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I feel happy for Norv Turner...somehow he recycled his way into one of the top programs in the NFL.

I feel sad for the Chargers who had to go from Marty's 14-2 to the recycled Norv Turner.

It could go down as one of the worst moves ever. Key word is could.

I think Barney Fife could coach that team to a winning record.

Then again, having a winning record isn't satisfying in S.D. You gotta be able to hold hands and break out in song with the front office folks too.

For Norv's sake, he better have some vocal practice.

Good riddance to Turner. The 49ers need to get rid of him. He's a proven loser. And I agree Barney Fife or maybe even Jim Walden could coach that team. 3rd and long, run up the middle. That MIGHT actually work with LT in the lineup.

Hilarious on that show, but at his best on The Apple Dumpling Gang and The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again! Tim Conway and Don Knotts together...wow! As a kid those movies were pretty much my favorites, and even today I think they are a riot. Which says a lot cause most movies I liked as a kid seem pretty dumb to me now....3 Ninja's, Beethoven, and lets not forget about Free Willy and Free Willy II and any subsequent Free Willy's that may have been made.

And yet another sigh of relief by Archie and Eli Manning. Wow. These two are right about the SD front office not wanting to do what it takes to win.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
