    Tickets....

Can someone anwser this. The ISU website doesn't really say too much about it. I am a Century Club Member in the NCC the last couple years, but still am getting the Under 29 Ticket pricing. Is the limit 2 for that?
I thought I read that you can only get 2? So if that is the case if I buy a third ticket it would be at Full price for $350? I am guessing they would put a limit on that. I will keep checking the website.....
    Thanks

Just found my answer....Seems like that website changes constantly. They now all of the sudden have clickable Jack Trice maps to view....

    Re: Tickets....

Yes, the limit is two. The wife and I need 4 as we take different friends to each game - in hopes of getting some of them hooked on getting their own tickets. Plus it's more fun to go in groups. :)

So...both of us joined the NCC and each get 2 tickets seated together. Likely will be our final year doing it, even though we'll have 2 more years of 29 or under. I think we'll need to pay full price if we want to keep our seats for '08.

I'm not sure if we can donate at a higher level and pay the half price. If so, we'll do that in '08. :)

    ISUFan22,

I called the NCC and they confirmed that you can donate at any monetary level and still be Varsity Club - that's what my wife and I are doing. We're using my employer's gift matching program to donate at the Cardinal Level, but since we're under 29 also we are still eligible for the half price tickets. Again that was per an email conversation with the NCC from several weeks ago.

But don't you get much worse seats in the varsity program? If you are already dropping that kinda $$, spend a little more and get better seats.

ISU should be hyping up the varsity club more. I would have done it when I was in my 20's. I never even knew about it until we called to get tickets. I never did join it since I did not start getting season tickets till I was 28.

I had seats in the varsity club section last season....we were about 3/4 the way up in the LOWER LEVEL around the 20 yard line. Pretty good seats if you ask me.

Yeah, the varsity sections aren't too bad. I was told by NCC that since I'm donating at the Cardinal Level, my seats would be in the appropriate section (which isn't that much closer than Varsity anyway). I haven't received my tickets yet to know if we're in the varsity or cardinal sections. Anyway, I had a finite amount of money to spend - I could either not donate and just get 2 $350 tickets for $700, or use my employer's gift match to donate $500 ($250 from me, $250 from employer), get the $50 parking pass and 2 $195 Varsity tickets for a total of $690. ISU sold 2 season tickets and got a $500 donation, and I got a parking pass and a charitable donation for tax deductions next year. And I even saved $10 while doing it :-)

The Varsity sections are included with the Century ($100) donors I believe - dark blue. Cardinal level, red, isn't significantly different.

Ahh, if that map were only true. I am section F in the greyed out area, and also a cardinal member. Each of the last 3 years, I have been denied a seating upgrade.

My varsity club seats are in Section 21 Row 10 not a bad deal until i turn 30. I donate at the century level to get a parking pass.
