he came back briefly. i think he is fine and they were just holding him out the rest of the game as a precaution.

Talked to him after the game because there was no coverage in Texas. He said that he was injured on the first series, and he didn't do much tonight, but that he'll be ready to go next week.

Just a sprained ankle. Should be good to go next week so long as he doesn't tweek it again.

Yeah, but everyone said Darks was going to be good to go for the opener too. Ankles and hamstring injuries have a way of reoccurring. I'm a bit concerned that both Sed and Darks are hurt. Suddenly we aren't that deep at receiver anymore........

Darks seemed to play quite a bit in the 2nd half, so I would still consider us having some good talent at WR with Hamilton, Reynolds & Darks. When I watched Reynolds he got open. It will surprise me if he's not our leading receiver this year.

Darks didn't have a single reception though. Which tells me that he is still hurt. (I could be wrong). But it was nice to see him out there though.
Yeah, ive always had love for Hamilton.
I think I just worry a lot because I want this team to succeed so badly.

    Re: sedrick

I had a perfect view of the sedrick play. It looked like he broke both ankles and blew out both ACLs. Terrible throw or was throwing it away? Hard to believe he came back tells you how good of an athlete he is. Hopefully he can play next week. We will need him to score for us to win next week. Our entire offense will need to play a near perfect game. Go Clones

Darks lined up as the outside receiver everytime he was in the game and I don't think Arnaud even looked at him. Maybe we were just using him as a decoy but I doubt that.

I was a little nervous that Arnaud was locking onto receivers (Money in first half and Hamilton in second) and not looking for others. But maybe there was some design that I was missing.

Agree with this post... fair or not.. I had myself thinking of Meyer... not a dig... just sorta had that feeling to... not gonna profess to know what a quarterbacks progressions and the extent of them should be... Was looking for Darius "Ace" Darks too, and didn't see many "looks" or designed plays his way.

I'll take locking in on a receiver any day if it leads to 7/10 completions.

Really, its not a big deal that one of our pleathora of good receivers didn't make a catch. I know they threw it to him at least once. Its not surprising a player who has missed practices this preseason wouldn't be the first guy the QB looks for in the first game of a new offense.

Arnaud didnt look any different than last year.

I dont know why people keep saying we are deep at WR. When we go 5 wide that takes up pretty much every capable WR we have.

We played two walk ons a ton last night.... how is that being deep?

I think we have more talent and potential at receiver than we've had in awhile as far as having multiple guys that can make a play.
