    Handicap Sticker

So was I the only one yesterday to see (a former Menís basketball coach) pull up to the west Hy-Vee in his suv and pull into a handicap parking spot and go inside. I guess getting fired from ISU has really messed him up? Or does someone know something?

They hand a lot of those out nowadays. What pees me off is to see people who are using the vehicle of someone who may actually need it, but they arent present, and the jagoffs are still parkin in the handicapped spot.

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

Thatís exactly what was going down. I knew his son needed it but I didnít think he did. That just gets on my nerves.

This is common place for this former coach. The Ames PD should start ticketing the lazy bum.

Walking on water is easy. Just do it in December when it's frozen.

Did you stick around until he left? Maybe he had dropped off his wife and son earlier, went to run another errand and came back to meet up with them.

    Re: Handicap Sticker

In my 39 years of life, I have yet to pull into anywhere besides a hospital and see all the handicap spots taken. If I could get one today, I'd use it on a regular basis, weather or not I needed it. You guys should try those electric carts they provide in grocery stores as well. Makes shopping a lot more enjoyable.

Doubtful. This happens a lot. Sometimes at Hy-Vee. Sometimes at West Cyde Wings. Sometimes at the Japanese(?) place next door to WCW.

We were in HyVee, but didn't see the parking smooth-move. He seemed to be in a bad mood.

    Re: Handicap Sticker

The worst I have ever seen is 2 obese people waddling across the parking lot from an all you can eat buffet to their van parked in the handicap spot. seriously, they have no clue why they are in the condition they are in?

Actually, it sounds like you're assuming to know why they have the handicap hangtag based on their looks.
