    Ironman at DisneyWorld?

Yeah, four billion bucks will get Disney 5,000 characters from Marvel to place in their theme parks and to do more movies. Can you imagine Mickey Mouse as a part of the Fantastic Five?

Disney to acquire Marvel in $4 billion deal | U.S. | Reuters
"The deal to buy the 70-year-old studio -- which began life as an arm of a pulp fiction publisher in 1930 before bankruptcy, then rose to prominence in the past few years following Spider-Man -- is Disney's largest since the $7.6 billion purchase of Pixar in 2006, and it made waves."

Just think of the videogame implications....

    Re: Ironman at DisneyWorld?

This will be good for marvel and for fans. Marvel has been funding their own movies alot and its been slowing progress. Disney has the cash to greenlight more characters. However, Disney may also be more strict on what it produces. If it feels like a character such as Thor might not make a ton of money in theaters, they may limit its budget a tad.

I was hoping this was going to be about triathlons...boo cartoons.

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

    Re: Ironman at DisneyWorld?

Disney told Marvel they will be very hands-off in the management of Marvel's properties. They trust Marvel's creative direction of their brand, only now Disney will be able to report Marvel's earnings as part of their own.
