Albert hits a walk-off, bottom of 9th to beat Nats. The cubs have not been able to gain a game on the Cards through all of August

Why not just be happy for your Cardinals and don't worry about the Cubs. They are of no concern.

    Re: Walk off

Is it just the Cardinals fans and broadcasters saying that Albert is the best player in the game today?

Part of this fanbase is like the parable of the blind men and the elephant.

    Who knew?

The cubs are the closest team in the division standings. A good fan always looks at the scoreboard and the competition, it's part of the game. Right??

    Absolute ******* stud. Hello OCTOBER!!!

This win felt SO good and I have no explanation as to why. We've had walk-offs before in the season, but man this one felt GREAT!

If Pujols is the best player in baseball, Hanley Ramirez has just as strong a case.
