    Question for The City

If I remember correctly, didn't you say that you would be making it to Ames for a couple of games this year, with the opener against NDSU being one of them? I might be mistaken on that one. Even so, we are a week out from the debut of the 2009 Cyclones under new coach Paul Rhoads and his regime, as well as the debut of your bro, Money Reynolds. How are you feeling with the opening game kickoff being right around the corner?

    Re: Question for The City

Football is a game of pure 100 mph excitement. Think about it...if youre like me, then before every snap your on edge. Your eyes wide, your heart racing, your mind blanking out the sound of all outside noise as you await the possibility of something big within the next 4 to 5 seconds. How long is 5 seconds? Long enough to witness punishing blocks, nifty spin moves, hurdling would be tacklers and sprinting ball carriers. Name another sport that provides so much in such a short time. I am a true fan of the game, the thrill of the chase, the explosion of the contact, and the magic of success in motion. how does this tie into ISU and the season opener Sept 3? Sept 3...wait it hasnt past yet? Are sure because I swear Ive seen this game played on the playing fields of my mind at least 12 times! You mean when I close my eyes and picture LJ taking a pic back to the house that hasnt happened yet? What about when someone slams a door and I flash back to a big QB sack on the first series courtesy of Mr. Nate Frere(sp)? Youre trying to tell me Im making that up to? What about this Jet flying over my head right now that almost looks similar to the deep ball that Money caught in the right side of the end zone perfectly placed from 4 to 5!?
Okay so it was all a dream, but come 7pm, JT Stadium it wont be. Sweat beads to tears it will be real. Paul Rhoads needs to bring his hard nosed attitude, the opportunity to strike blood from a Bison should bring us all the same grattitude. Theres no place Id rather be than, you got it dude, Cyclone Nation!

Nope Im not crazy, just caught in the storm!!!!

I like a PBR from time to time...but to some after drinking that, he might never come back.

that is the best post on CF that I have read!

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs
