Blalock went to Detroit with the final pick. Stinson went undrafted. Best of luck to the both of them.

As the last player taken, Blalock goes to a great team with a solid chance to make the team. Thoughts on the draft?

In basketball, is there a "Mr. Irrelevant" for the last pick in the draft like in the NFL? If there is, I sure hope Will is able to prove it wrong.

That is crazy...I definently knew they should have stayed another year, now Curtis is stuck playing Euro ball, and Will is going to work REALLY hard to even make a cut. $5 says he goes to Boston.

I agree, I think they would've excelled in McD's system and gone higher in the draft.

Suppose they are wondering if they should have stayed for another year?
I think I would be.

Will should work out well for the Pistons, however, will all of the talk I heard following the WM firing, I too would not be surprised if he somehow ends up in Boston. And as bad of a night as the Knicks had in the draft, maybe the drama Curtis carries with him will be an added bonus to the Knicks org.

I could see Isiah picking up Stinson, as everyone knows New York is trying to be the first team with 11 combo guards on the roster.

Good luck to WB and CS, but they would have been better off staying in school. They obviously wouldn't have hurt their draft prospects, and they could have received a degree.

Dumb question, what is WM up to now? From the comments is sounds like he's with the Celtics (?)

With the new rule last year applying age limits to the draft, next year's draft will be that much tougher to get picked. There are several players who would have been drafted out of High School this year, but will instead be added to the list of possible draftees next year. Putting myself in their shoes, I am pretty confident I would have done the same thing as Will and Curtis. Blalock has a 6 week old baby and supposedly Curtis has one on the way as well. Add into both of those situations the fact that their coach had been fired, and the draft seems like the most logical choice. Whether they would get drafted or not, they would be playing ball for money, and that is what they need to be doing.
