    Re: Seneca gets praise

Maybe should revise the title to "Sage and Seneca get praise" because they are ranked at No 4 and 5, respectively.

ISU gets #4-5. Not too shabby.

    Re: Seneca gets praise

Numbers 1, 2 and 3 were all regular starters at one time. For Sage and Seneca to be listed right behind them is a pretty good thing.

I think Seneca will get his shot in Seattle, theres a reason he hasn't been let go. They really like him there.

I tell you that back up QB in the NFL is a pretty good gig. Nice coin and don't have to get your brains beat in every week.

    Re: Seneca gets praise

I don't think Seneca is "good enough" to be a starter day in and day out at the NFL level. I do think Sage can do it though.

How about this for a new tagline:

Iowa State University - producing the best second-best quarterbacks in the NFL since 2001.

    I agree with this sentiment.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

    Re: Seneca gets praise

Isn't ISU tied for the most quarterbacks in the NFL for a big 12 school?

Nationally, I can only think of USC as a school who has more active qbs in the NFL.

    Are there any others?

Texas has at least 2 - Vince Young & Chris Simms
Tennessee - Eric Ainge & Peyton Manning
Michigan - Chad Henne & Tom Brady
Cal - Kyle Boller & Aaron Rogers
