    Cutler calling out Denver fans

Was going to post this a couple of days ago. Jay went on ESPN in Chicago and called out Denver fans for having no passion. I understand that Jay had a problem with the coach and owner but why does he feel the need to call us out especially when he has to come back for a preseason game. I was youtubing for Denver Broncos stuff and found this. wow

Re: Cutler calling out Denver fans

As a non-invested party, my impression was that Cutler was unprofessional (a.k.a. a big baby) at every step of the process that led him out of Denver.

How about a Bears-Broncos Superbowl? All this NFL drama is getting very old. There's Mike Vick, TO and his reality show that is unwatchable, Chad Johnson's twitter page, Cutler being a *****, Donte Stallworth, and Brett Favre and his desperate attempt to get attention all are stories that have been beaten to death. I can't wait until there are actual games to watch.

Wow. Amen. I hate it sometimes when it's the No Fun League when it comes to endzone dances and fun stuff like that, but man. I'll take the no fun football league over the Drama-filled league. I mean seriously, this is a man's sport. When did it turn into such a drama fest. I swear this is the longest offseason EVER.

Re: Cutler calling out Denver fans

I have been to a couple Broncos games and was in San Diego for their win over Green Bay. Denver fans seem to have plenty of passion. I think I can remember them even shuttling Bronco players on their snowmobiles a couple years back. From what I can tell, Cutler didn't appreciate how good he had things.

I cannot wait to see the Vikes D welcome him to the NFC.

Re: Cutler calling out Denver fans

Apparently Cutler has clarified his comments. He said he was talking about the difference in the two training camps. Whatever Jay, I was happy to see The Bears / Broncos preseason game on Aug. 30 is a NBC telecast. It's third week of preseason so starters will play more than a series. I hope Denver throws a lot of blitz's at him.

Ask CU fans if the Broncos get any passion. They are an afterthought compared to the Broncos. Cutler is a punk and needs to grow up. If I were a Bears fan, I'd be a little worried about his personality. I could see it getting him into trouble down the line.

I think Cutler does to much QQing. Glad he isn't our QB.

After meeting Bears fans, the Broncos fans may seem pretty timid.

Re: Cutler calling out Denver fans

Being a Viking's fan, I love that there have already been two somewhat negative stories regarding Cutler. The incident with Urlacher and now this. Until proven wrong, I am going to believe it was definitely more than personality conflict that led to Cutler not being on the Broncos anymore. If this guy is half the QB that Bears fans think he is, there is no way a franchise gives him up because he and the coach don't get along very well.

From what I've heard and read on the story, (and this is my interpretation) is the Broncos were looking at this guy as the next TO, yeah, he's got talent, but it isn't worth the baggage and issues the guy brings to a team. I do believe his comments about Denver fans wasn't a big deal. But just the fact that it's making sports news, shows the baggage this guy carries around with him. IF I'm a coach I want to answer questions about his performance on the field, not constantly talk about my relationship with him, his relationship with his teammates, why is he making comments like this all the time, etc. Especially Lovey Smith. Most Chicago media can't stand the guy because he skirts issues all the time. I really see some bad blood starting to brew here. The media in Chicago can be brutal if they aren't treated lik the prima dona's they all think they are.

I agree; having lived in Denver for a number of years, for Cutler to make a statement like this shows he doesn't live in the real world.

Denver has to be one of the best franchises in the NFL; consistently selling out games, huge home-field advantage - generally, the Broncos are the town; I kind feel sorry for the Nuggets, Rockies and Buffs.
