Well guys if you want "respect" you have to earn it by beating the stuffins out of teams like NU-KU-MU-CU-KSU.....Need I go on?

Just win the north a few times, which I think Paul Rhoads is gonna do and you will get all the respect that you are now craving....

    and remember....

I agree. Hopefully we can put some big numbers up against them in Lincoln this year.

Re: Nebraska Blog preview of ISU 2009

I was at the game in Lincoln two years ago. We could have easily won the game. We dominated, but Meyer fumbled going in for a score, they ran it back 98 yards for a TD. A comedy of errors for Iowa State, but winnable.

I don't care about big numbers--I'd settle for beating them 2-0.

We have 9 wins the past three seasons. You do the math.

Turn it around. Let's say we have a decent basketball team that was making the NCAAs on a regular basis, and were analyzing a Nebraska basketball team that was winning about 1/4 (or less) of their games. What would we say about them? I'm guessing the overall tone would be pretty much the same.

Why? Because we're arrogant, demeaning bastards at heart?
