    ESPN Game Plan/Fullcourt

hey, the family has recently moved out of the area and we now have direct tv. we're considering getting espn's game plan and fullcourt packages. i was wondering if anyone on here has experience with either of these and how often the cyclones are on these channels.

You get most of the games if not all of them on full court.

    Re: ESPN Game Plan/Fullcourt

I can't speak to full court, but gameplan may or may not be a waste of your money.

You definitely want the sports pack, but depending on how much ISU is on ABC (yeah right) this year, game plan probably won't carry many, if any, of their games.

I think we only had one, maybe two, games on ABC last year that game plan would have covered, and it would only have covered it exclusively for you if you were outside of the clearance area for the game.

My advice would be to hold off on ordering it until we show up on ABC and then order it at that point if you don't have any other options. It just takes a few minutes, and if it's near the end of the season it might be heavily discounted as well.

I've purchased Fullcourt the last couple seasons and have been happy with it for the most part. Sometimes, you'll get the opponents network & commentators for away games and HD is pretty much out of the question, but at least you can watch the games and hopefully this year we'll show up for both halves. :)

    Re: ESPN Game Plan/Fullcourt

I've got Full Court many times. Generally speaking its pretty good and worth it. However, the last few years the number of early season games (before conference season starts) that have been on has been greatly reduced. It used to be you could get practically all the ISU games, but not so much anymore. Check the schedule before signing up which could help you decide, however it won't come out for quite a while.

As far as the Game Plan goes, I can't imagine that ever being worth it. Generally speaking our football games are on channels like Fox College Sports and Versus, so getting a sports package that includes the Fox Sports channels is the way to go. Game Plan is probably a waste of money.
