Lou just said on the radio that he's giving Kevin Gregg the night off. So someone else in the bullpen will get the chance to blow the save tonight. My vote goes to Marmol as being the lucky candidate.

3-0 Cubs after 4 innings on the strength of a Fontenot 3-run homer.

I'm putting money on Heilman. Marmol will walk the bases loaded with 1-out and then Guzman will come in to save him and then they'll throw Heilman in the 9th, just because there's really nobody else.

Lou said that Heilman and Guzman will also have the day off. Doesn't mean they won't pitch, only means he's trying not to use them, I guess.

I'm finally convinced that Wells is indeed a quality ML starter.

His record "should" have about 3 more wins than it currently does. The bullpen blew 3 very winnable games for him early on in the season.

I know....I just wasnt sold on his 'stuff' when he first came up. I assumed once teams got a second and now third look at him that they would adjust and he would have trouble. I'm a bit surprised but still very happy about it.

I'm really surprised that Harang turned this thing around for himself. I was hoping we'd just run wild over him.

They'd have a better shot just letting Wells finish it out.

Wells is cruising, but it sure would be nice to add a few more runs.

Good thing the Cobs got some runs early, I guess. Haven't done jack against Harang since the 3rd.
