    Amazing story/video

I saw a video on this a few years ago and stumbled across a different one on youtube. It pretty much sums up the meaning of life to me and makes me want to get off my computer and doing something worthwhile.

It's only 6 minutes long, and the story really starts at about a minute into it. It is pretty incredible and definitely worth your time to watch.

It's going to make me motivated? I'm going to have to save that one for later when I'm not so tired

I saw something on t.v. about this. They carried him across the finish line.

Well, he has to pull him during the swimming portion, he gets put in raft and the harness is put around his dad. Then he rides on the front of his bike and he pushes him in a wheelchair for the marathon portion of it...its just nuts. The dad is 70 I think and his son is like 49 or 50...amazes me.

That's a fantastic video. As a father (and son), that's a really emotional video to watch, and really captures that unconditional love as well as anything I've seen. Thanks!

Heres a music video that shows them throughout the Ironman...pretty sure this is the one you were talking about htown. Tough to not get choked up seeing him carry his son all the way through that race...

Im just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard, Eustachy joked. If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, hell be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.

    Re: Amazing story/video

I was at a conference where these two were the guest speakers (surprise to all of us). One of the most incredible/inspirational stories I have ever heard. I have read their book a couple of times and it is just unbelievable what they have been able to accomplish. That redeemer video gets me every time I watch it.

Yeah I think they have completed 6 Ironman Tri's. 2.4 mile swim (towing his son in a raft), 112 miles on the bike (Rick riding on the front of the bike), and 26.2 mile run (pushing Rick). And they didn't finish last. Unreal!!
