The Bills will be fine. Not really sure what the correlation there is between his comment and the Bills. I mean, we all know TO opens his mouth.

As far as how he plays for Buffalo...the only way the Bills will be screwed is if they entertain a long term deal with him.

TO is a cliche butchering moron and a team/qb killer.

Trent Edwards is doomed. The Bills are doomed.

He's the AI of the NFL - used to make up for it with talent, now he just ****s teams prison style.

TO will be fine in Buffalo with a one year deal and nothing more.

The Bills already suck, so how does this make it worse?

Marshawn Lynch is already sitting the first 4 games.

Sorry for being a littoff the subject here but I know we try to keep this board PG and all but when you can use the p-word on radio and on television these days do we really need to censor it here?

Wow - never saw I'd see the day but there's something I actually agree with TO on. Although I'd term it as "beating a dead horse".

I'm appalled at what Vick did and I personally would be perfectly happy if he was banned from the NFL. But the near 24 Vick-watch has already worn out it's welcome.

It's a pretty sad day in this country when you get more jail time for killing dogs than killing people (see: Donte Stallworth).

P.S. on an semi-related note can we ban Favre from the NFL so people can quit talking about him?

Agreed - but I really hate that comparison (no offense to you). To me, it really minimizes what Vick did instead of simply showing the pathetic lack of justice in the Stallworth case.

And I'm completely on board with you on the Favre thing. If I never heard his name again until his induction into Canton - I'd be a happy man.

For probably the only time TO actually has intelligence coming out of his mouth instead of mindless drivel...I really hope Mike Vick can make it back into the NFL, though i do not condone what he has done. He has served his time and repaid his debt to society. A quote from one of those Bad News Bears movies, LET EM PLAY! LET EM PLAY!

And this is the biggest misconception about the Michael Vick case - he was not imprisioned for killing dogs. He was imprisioned for running/participating in an illegal intrastate gambling ring. Killing dogs just happened to be the medium. It would have been just as illegal had he been running an unregistered lottery or if he were racing dogs under similar circumstances. However, oddly enough, he probably would not be facing the same public outroar had it been with these two, despite them being just as illegal.

Face it - people want Vick banned from the NFL because he killed dogs (which in itself is not a crime), not because he was part of an illegal intrastate gambling ring (which was his actual crime).

As for my thoughts, I don't think he should be banned, but I do think he should suffer a lengthy suspension of 4-6 games. That being said, I wouldn't want him playing for my team, and I wouldn't lose any sleep at night if he were banned.

I give it four games before the big blow-up with the qb. Trent is Doomed.

    Re: TO on Mike Vick

for the record, I wasn't so much making fun of the essense of what TO is saying ... more his blending of:

"Looking a gift horse in the mouth" & "Beating a dead horse"

    Equine cliches can be confusing.

ok then insert "gambling" for "killing dogs" in my post, does that make it any better? The guy KILLED a man and got 30 days in jail. If anyone should get a lifetime ban it's him.

I was just trying to figure out how you were tying his homemade cliche to his on field contributions. ;)
