    Handling full court press

I don't think this has been discussed in any post so I'll throw it out there.

Both Mike and Corey repeatedly beat the press and had good numbers on their side but then slowed down between the half court line and the 3 point line and then the resulting shots were not quality shots anyway. (Maybe this is selective memory on my part and I do not want to watch the replay of that game.)

Isn't the best way to prevent our opponents from pressing us is to push it up the floor and try to score quick baskets? We know we have problems scoring, why aren't we trying to run and score quick baskets from time to time?

Maybe it's because GMac doesn't want an up and down game, but when we are struggling to score, wouldn't this give us a scoring boost? Isn't that better than milking the clock while you're down 10+?

I know that we are going to see good and bad games this season because of various reasons. I just hope last night's game is our worst game of the next decade.
