Post Elway to Favre: Absolutely play

    from startribune.com

Sam Farmer of the LA Times caught up with Hall of Fame quarterbacks John Elway and Joe Montana and asked them about Brett Favre’s possible return to football.
Elway said Favre absolutely should come out of retirement to play for the Vikings because “if he decides not to play now and doesn’t come back, I think he’ll question that for the rest of his life.”
Montana said Favre should play if he feels like he’s ready but that he needs to make a decision one way or the other as quickly as possible.
“Usually when you’re waffling like that it makes it difficult on everybody,” he said.
One interesting part of the story was that Elway suffered a similar arm injury late in his career that Favre recently had fixed. Like Favre, Elway needed surgery to repair a torn biceps tendon. Elway said he believes Favre’s arm should feel fine now that he has had the surgery.
Here is a link to Farmer’s story.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

Add Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels to that list.
