Goodbye and good riddance, Iowa City

2 days left until the move. Although there are aspects of Iowa City that I will indeed miss, I prefer to list off some of the things I will not miss.

    Non-painted road lines
    Potholes
    IC snow removal
    Drunken spoiled brats from "Chicago"
    Iowa Football/Illinois Basketball fans
The worst drivers from Iowa & Illinois
    The police
The weekend hooker look-a-like contests (Okay, I'll miss this a little)
Rich FIB's who only vote when their beer is about to be taken away
Semi-socialist IC control over every aspect possible. (Did you know that you can't have a clothesline in Iowa City unless it is concealed by a privacy fence?)
    Traffic around UIHC
    Coralville, the entire thing
Random yellings of "Go Hawks", even when no games are being played

Re: Goodbye and good riddance, Iowa City

How about the threat of being stabbed by a homeless guy outside your usual bar after telling him to pick up the beer bottles he just dropped?

Too bad that street person then got capped by a deputy.

Congratulations. I left Iowa City permanently in 1995 with no regrets. I only step foot in that privy-hole if there's an ISU Football game in Kinnick.

So you're bailing and leaving the "good fight" to the rest of us? Can I assume you're moving to the mis-named West Liberty (too far east of North Liberty)? I'll refrain from taking shots at your new home-town; they do have a couple good Mexican Restaurants and a very pretty Carnegie Library (renovated by an ISU-trained Architect several years ago)...

    Good luck with your move...

This point is worthless without pictures. Darn, the new rules.

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).

Left that town in '05 single most jacked up town traffic wise considering the population. And the absolute worst drivers
