FSU's Bowden to retire after 2010?

Bobby Bowden, who will turn 80 in November during his 34th season at FSU, will also be quizzed by the media in Greensboro, N.C. about his retirement. Bowden is currently under a one-year contract that will be reviewed at the end of the season. FSU also has a contract with head coach-in-waiting Jimbo Fisher in which Seminole Boosters Inc. must pay him $5 million if he is not the head coach by Jan. 10, 2011. Bowden understands that his years are numbered. That would be as in one or two if you go by the Fisher contract. And you should. It's finally becoming obvious FSU has no intention of paying Fisher $5 million. Bowden will retire either after this season or the 2010 season. -- Tallahassee Democrat

Well, since it's pretty obvious he's out of the running for winningest coach in history...

Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
