    Who's ready for some football?!?!

I know I am. The month of July sucks!!!! At least in August we get a few nuggets of info coming out of fall ball. Anyone else getting a bit anxious for the season to start?

No, I enjoy the summer...NBA finals, METHCAR, Golf (whatever happened to the great Michelle Wi topics?), All-Star game (who doesn't like that is has MEANING now), Tour de France, good Soccer coverage, WNBA (Go Lynx!) and seriously...doesn't get better than hot dog eating contests. Football will just ruin all of that.

Re: Who's ready for some football?!?!

I'm pumped for football season, I even watched 2006 Michigan State vs. Notre Dame on espn classic last night. However, I'm not ready to wish away the summer.

Oh yeah, I just saw some great women's bowling the other day...they seriously need to do testing in that sport.

I'm pumped for the online gambling. Not so much for the ISU season.

I am beyond ready. It got so bad the other day, I was flipping thru the 600s on DirecT and saw they were replaying 1984 Penn State vs. BC and I watched it. I don't really care for either team and it was on the Lil 'Leven channel, but the "classic" games are getting back into the rotation!

Baseball is tiding me over right now but nothing beats football season. Best time of the year! And in central Texas I look forward to the end of the summer because then it finally becomes enjoyable outside!

The weather here SUCKS this year. I wish we could take your blistering hot sun and lack of wind. We have some rain for you if you want that. You cant go floating down the river when its 75 and a chance of thunderstorms every day.

I must be. I'm sitting here watching a replay of the 2004 Independence Bowl. If only this year's D could get to that level...

Why would I care for football when I can listen to KXNO in the afternoon debate for 45 min whether golf is a sport.

The weather is tremendous this time of year; sunny days, highs in the low 80s, and crisp cool evenings.

And there is so much too do in the summer that I hope that fall never comes.
