    I officially have the ITCH

No that's not to say I contracted some sort of STD. The itch I'm referring to is the non-stop thoughts of Iowa State football and tailgating. 6 weeks really isn't that far away so I've already begun getting organized. Have any of you contracted this same itch recently? I have a feeling mine isn't going away anytime soon......and I like that!!!

P.S. I 100% realize this is pretty much a pointless thread but felt I needed to let cyclone nation know of this awesome disease.

I got the itch a few weeks ago. Its spreads fast by watching videos, etc.

I have it in a bad way. There is no better feeling than pulling into that grass lot on a Thursday at noon when you should be at work.

I'm still trying to figure out what excuses I can use with the family and work to get to the first game.

Dammit dude, I saw the thread title and was all ready to make STD jokes at your expense. Then you had to go and ruin it in your first sentence.

Might as well not let it go to waste...

You should probably see your doctor. I hear they make creams for that kind of thing...

You might want to have that looked at...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Just remember that the only major difference between this team and the team last year that barely managed 2 wins is the coaching staff. Unfortunately, coaches can't run with a ball or tackle ball carriers. They also are not eligible receivers.

This may be true, but I'm the type of fan that will stand behind the cyclones regardless of wins or losses. Granted winning makes it all the better, but I'm not going to throw them under the bus if we don't improve. I'll still get excited for the beginning of football every year.

As well as every single Cyclone fan that remembers Earle Bruce, as that was the incident that pretty much paved the way for Ohio St hiring arguably our greatest football coach away from us...
