    Comic Con

So who else is a huge nerd and always looks forward to these great few days in San Diego where the realms of geeks, Hollywood, and gaming professionals intertwine? It has been an ambition of mine to make the trip out there someday, and I even managed to talk seriously about it with the wife for a couple days before ruling it out (she listened more intently when I told her Hugh Jackman made a surprise appearance last year).

Probably the biggest newsbuzz this year will be Iron Man 2, though I am also paying close attention to the new video games being unveiled.

    Re: Comic Con

I would love to go! Ripvdub would probably not want to go with me. I'd be obsessed with the New Moon (Twilight) cast and movie but would love to see stuff on LOST, Iron Man, and much more. I'd want to see the preview for "V" too. I remember a very little bit from when I was little (being scared out of my mind and my dad eating oysters with his fingers from the oyster stew and saying "yum, mousies".

I will only see this movie if it contains the comic genius of Raimi and Bruce Campbell.

Ash taking down the Lich King or whatever it is = Hollywood Gold

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: Comic Con

I've never read comic books, but I do want to make it to this event someday. Looks like it is awesome for people-watching. Never seem to make the effort though.

A few years ago we went to see Clerks 2 the same week that Comicon was in town and Kevin Smith made a suprise appearance at the end of the movie. Turns out he's a big comic fan and comes to Comicon pretty frequently. It was the opening weekend for Clerks2 so he popped in to do a Q&A. Pretty interesting guy.
