    Pacers finally waive Tinsley

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers have waived point guard Jamaal Tinsley, ending an often strained relationship
The Pacers announced the move Wednesday. A Pacers spokesman said the NBA will process the request Thursday, and if Tinsley clears waivers, he will become a free agent.
As a result, next week's grievance arbitration has been canceled.
Tinsley was owed $14.7 million over the next two years. The team did not release details of the resolution and says it will have no further comment.
Tinsley has been with Indiana since 2001-02, and was hampered by injuries and legal problems in recent years. The Pacers told him not to report to training camp last season, and did not allow him to play.
Tinsley has career averages of 10.4 points and 7.0 assists.

I hope he goes to a really really good team and starts winning again.....and his stupid off the court stuff comes to an end.

I hope he goes to the Celtics or Lakers.

But who needs a PG right now......?

Surprised they took this long to take the opportunity to make the team more white.

So other teams are making themselves more black?

    This is garbage.

Ive heard both Al Davis and the owner of the clippers say that they prefer black players, but nobody says anything about that.

i think he could be great for the lakers. i dont think farmar or brown are really that good off the bench. tinsley has a lot a flare which fits the LA style and is a great distributor. would be a great back up for fisher

They filled his roster spot by signing Josh McRoberts, hilarious! I'm glad Jamaal's done there.

The problem I see with a team like the lakers is Kobe controls the ball so much that you want more of a spot of shooter at PG then a distributor like Tinsley. This would also apply to Cavs, Heat etc.

Knicks or Blazers, whichever one doesn't get Andre Miller. Longshot, Boston Celtics.

    I'll take a Jack & Hilton

    Jamaal Tinsley

Indiana Pacers finally waive veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley - ESPN

Let go by the Pacers. I think he could end up with a team as a back-up point guard or even a starting PG for a team with not a lot of experience. Even though he has had trouble with the law, he is in "his best shape ever."

    Good Luck Jamaal!

Jamaal could give them some serious Showtime flare with Kobe getting out on the break or playing without the ball. Kobe could play more above the rim again. He would make life so much better for Gasol, Bynum, and the rest of the front coutr with his ability to get into the paint.
