    Undergrad Degree Salary Potential

I am surprised this hasn't been posted already. As the article states, the list does not take into account post-graduate degrees, only to determine the best investment of undergraduate degrees. While stating the data was not collected scientifically and randomly, there are some trends. This list is where I have always thought schools graded out over the last 30 years. Not too much surprise at the top, except maybe Yale being a little lower than expected. If this thread has to be moved to In-State Rivals, I understand.

    Hooah beatin the median.

(Note this is not an attempt to start a flame war, please God don't start one because of this)

I'm surprised at Iowa's starting median salary. What other program there is getting undergrads higher paying jobs? I just ask since the two CoEs are significantly different sized

Wow, social workers: Starting median of 35K. 15 years later, median of 42K. Ouch. Not much in the way of raises.

Iowa's more prominent colleges usually require advanced degrees. This does not take that into account. I'd be more interested in seeing like colleges compared (engineering vs engineering and business vs business).

I am impressed with Pratt Institute. They do very little advertising. Do they have a bball team or are they too busy studying?

    Re: Undergrad Degree Salary Potential

It would be interesting to know where (location, not company) the grads of each school finds employment. That would have a big impact on their starting salary.

It's as much about "who" you know as it is "what" you know.
