    Vegas Poker Rooms

I'm usually not a big fan of the "Need help with travel plans" threads but I need help with travel plans. My wolf pack is going to Vegas next month in search of cocaine, hookers, and some decent poker tournaments. Been to Vegas a couple times but never really played in the poker rooms. Anybody have suggestions on decent tournaments or what their favorite poker room is???

Don't know anything about poker but I can hook you up with the cocaine and hookers.

    Not really.

    Maybe.

Stay Sober, sleep in really late then go play around 3am or later on Freemont St. Full of drunk tourists who have no idea what they are doing playing cards...

Cyball has it right the golden nugget poker room downtown is very nice, have also played at the Rio as well and it was nice too. I have not played in any others besides those two though, but I have heard lots of good things about the MGM grands poker room, was told that is the place to go to see high stakes games with pros playing.

Hold on a minute. I drank a lot at 3am and still won plenty of money at the Harrah's. Besides if your playing a cash game they are comped to you. By the end of the night the waitress would come over and ask if anyone needed a drink, and then she would say "besides you Mr. Bud Light man."

Wait a minute how did I get back to my room that night?

Regardless I woke up with $180 more than I started with and a free hangover. Win, Win.

Gambling in Vegas? Save yourself some time. Walk up to the first person you see on the strip, hand them all your cash and ask them to kick you in the groin. Head back to the airport and call it a vacation.

    Re: Vegas Poker Rooms

I have heard Bellagio has a nice poker room. The action might not be very good in a month as the World Series of Poker is just ending right now.

MGM and Bellagio are both good if you want to try playing big.

Next month? Well if cfb starts by then just bet all your money on something you know.

Also I recommend craps instead of poker.
